Below you will find the relation of most relevant works performed by Dragados Aldamiz. We have worked in most ports of Galicia and Bay of Biscay, and in sereral other locations of the Spanish coast.
Dredging of 1.070.000 m3 of muds at the Entrance Channel of the harbour, with dumping into the sea at 14 miles, using special anti-contamination measures. Executed in 2000.
Dredging included on the Enlargement of the Commercial Dock.
230.000 m3 on muds and sands, dumped at 18 miles distance, using special anti-contamination measures. Executed in 2009.

Dredging on rocks during construction of New Leisure Port of Laredo (Cantabria, Spain)
160 000 m3 of rocks extracted with no need for blasting, with our dipper dredge "Aldamiz Ocho".
Our company has specialized in dredging of muds in very sensitive environments. We have implemented highly efficient anti-turbidity measures, such us the use of enclosures with curtains at the dredging areas or the anti-overflow systems used at our barges.
The certificate ISO 14001 is a prove of our respect to environmental issues.
